We're searching for Canada's most talented amateur speaker (to win a complete
marketing package with Cathleen Fillmore - a $5,000 value - and representation with
Speakers Gold bureau.) The two runners-up will also get great prizes and lots of publicity.

The competition is heating up! This year, we're going national and now accepting
applications from tomorrow's great speaking stars. Are you one of them? Will you be
front and center on our stage?

Here is how it works:
You can either attend an in-person audition or submit a video or CD (no more than
fIve minutes). Auditions will run from June to September 2009. Our adjudicators
(coordinated by Ena Magan) will rate each speaker to find 12 of the very best to
compete in the Showcase on October 22. 2009.

If you've been recommended by a speech or presentation skills coach, a Toastmaster
Chapter President or a CAPS Chapter President, you automatically get a 10 point head start. We have great judges lined up: Rick Spence, Financial Post columnist and last year's winner, James Erdt of Joyzone Inc.

Here are the criteria:
Anywhere from zero to $20,000 in keynote speaking income in the past 12 months.

If selected as one of the 12 contestants, you'll be asked to deliver a three minute
motivational speech. All decisions are final. The showcase will be held on October 22nd - location to be announced.
